Being enrolled in National Professions' Medical Stenoscription program
provided great "relief" for me as opposed to physically going out to school. 
I entered National Professions with 15 years prior medical transcription
experience and was able to complete the program faster than normal.

For me, attending an actual school for stenotyping was not an option, due to location and time factors.  But had I been able to choose, I firmly believe that choosing National Professions is the better choice.  Their Lesson Plans allow you to work at your own pace and spend more time on trouble spots when needed.  My friend and Proctor, also a stenotypist, cannot believe how much I've learned and progressed from a home study course with such a difficult subject.  In fact, I've been able to teach her a thing or two!
